  1. There is much written in the current educational literature about teaching today's students with today's technology - even some who say teachers should use cell phones, iPods, FaceBook, etc. to deliver instruction. What do you think?

  2. Art lessons should be engaging they should often reflect some aspect of the visual culture of today’s youth. I am not against using various technology's in an art class but I do not want to toss away the traditional methods of teaching art making to them either.
Today’s students seem to live a significant portion of their lives through some form of a computer screen, and are often identified by their peers in relation to what their latest, ever-changing, Facebook profiles depict.

Being able to make a connection with students by understanding their interests and their lifestyles allows teachers to appropriately shape their teaching methods for a better, more engaging and effective learning environment.
